el 148 ~ 40%, upper left, change blend to 'luminance legacy'

3. Open el 65, draw a point to point selection around

the flying leprechaun on left

C/P on main tag, resize 40%

4.  Add copyright, url, & name. Delete white bg.

Merge visible, crop merged opaque, save as a PNG.

1.  Open transparent image 700 x 700 px

Flood fill white #ffffff

open val 2 pack el 157 ~ 35% C/P

Using Mura's Meister copies, wallpaper 'rotate', set # to 31

or higher until no transparent spaces show

Select white bg layer, select All

Select wallpaper layer, image ~ crop to selection. 

Apply CM Exclusive Goth Mask by Rachey

Merge group.

2.  Add elements of choice

Val 2 Pk ~ el 151 ~ 35%, C/P to top left

Val 1 Pk ~ el 125 ~ 35%, C/P to left

Val 1 Pk ~ el 37 ~ 35% - erase the tiny hearts inside the circle, C/P to top right

place the face within the circle of el 37

using magic wand, click inside the circle frame of el 37, expand by 5 px

on dup copy, apply eyecandy 4.0 chrome

default setting. 

Change blend mode to hard light, merge down.

D/S using default setting except change blur to 10 instead of 5.

type word 'love' sz 72, fill colour black

D/S.

4. Using pen tool, foreground closed, fill colour black, select style diamonds, width 2

draw line left to right beneath Steampunk wording

holding Ctrl key, click & release.

duplicate, move dup copy above Steampunk wording

Objects align - center, both lines

D/S both lines

Add elements of choice or:

Val 1 Pk ~ el 21 ~ 10%

Val 2 Pk ~ el 126 ~ 10%

Val 1 Pk ~ el 27 ~ 10%

Select topmost layer

right click on this layer, select merge visible to new layer

change blend mode to 'soft light' & drop opacity to 50%

Resize entire tag at this point if desired.

5. Add copyright, watermark & name.

Close white bg, merge visible, save as a PNG

1. Open template 1 from easy pack misc.

delete raster 1, layer 013, 012, 011

NRL, move it to very bottom, flood fill white.

2.  Beginning from layer 001, select all, float defloat, NRL

open paper 19 ~ 40%, copy & paste-into selection. d/s

close layer 001.

Select layer 002, select all, float, defloat, NRL

open paper 13, resize 40%, C/paste-into selection, d/s

close layer 002. 

Take rectangular selection tool,

draw an area around left paper layer, float, defloat, promote selection to a layer

select raster 3, delete. 

Rotate the promoted layer 90 degrees to left.

select raster 3, rotate 90 degrees to left, then image ~ mirror.

Arrange these small box layers according to reference tag.

3.  Select layer 003, select all, float, defloat

open paper 17, resize 40%, C/Paste as a new layer

invert selection, delete, invert selection, modifty selection ~ expand by 4 px

Add NRL

select flood fill tool, change foreground colour to #ad8749, background colour to black

select gradient tab, set angle to 45, repeats 1, flood fill the two selected areas. d/s.

Add noise to these gradient layers or use filter Xero-Fritillary

setting:  6, 61, 88, 22. Sharpen More. Move this layer

below paper 17 layers.

close layer 003.

4. Open image 32, we are going extract the clock from the center.

Using selection tool, choose 'circle' selection in drop-down menu.

Draw a rough circle around clockface, starting at very center of clock.

expand selection slightly beyond clockface. 

Find Selections on top menu bar,

Edit Selection, choose pick tool, resize selection to exact size of clock face

using the arrows.

When happy, return to Edit Selection ~ promote selection to a new layer.

d/s. Resize this clock layer 40%

C/P over layer004 on right. Duplicate, mirror. Flip horizontal.

Arrange so this clock is over left grey circle.

Close layer 004.

5.  Select layer 005, select all, float, defloat, invert

 Open paper 37, resize 40%, C/P as new layer, delete. d/s

Duplicate, image flip horizontal

Erase the right half of this paper so we see paper layer from below (seen as mirror image).

Select layer007, select all, float, defloat

NRL, open paper 38 ~ 40%, C/Paste into the selection.

Do not deselect

modify expand selection by 5, NRL

flood fill with same gradient as earlier (gold/black) except

select invert (colours) in gradient settings. d/s

Move this layer below the paper 38 layer.

Add noise to this gradient or add the Fritillary plugin as earlier.

6.  Select layer008, select all, float, defloat, invert

open paper 40 ~ 30%

C/Paste as new layer, delete. d/s

Select layer009, select all, float, defloat,

NRL, open paper 23 ~ 40%, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Repeat with layer010

except flood fill NRL with colour #f0e7c7

Apply Filters Unlimited 2.0 ~ paper texture: Japanese paper, default setting

or use texture of choice.

Open image 25, resize 50%, mirror

C/P over yellow circle layer

select all layer 010, float, defloat, invert

erase bottom part of tube (image 25)

that extends beyond bottom of circle selection. d/s

D/S tube layer

7.  Now customize your tag, resize a few elements

and place them at various layers within layers palette for added dimension:

image 21 ~ 30%

image 16 ~ 65% place above white bg

Add NRL, select all

Open & copy paper 38, paste into the selection. d/s

Apply mask of choice.

image 29 ~ 30%, place lower right anywhere above layer006

image 73 ~ 70%, place above masked layer

Add any other elements of choice.

Add gold/black gradient border to any other layers you wish.

D/S any layers you desire.

Add 2025 word art, change blend mode to 'hard light'

Add words 'Happy New Year' using font Will & Grace

in black or colour of choice. D/S

Resize entire tag using bicubic, lock aspect ratio

and resize all layers.

8.  Add copyright, url, & name. Delete white bg.

Merge visible, save as a png.

1. Open new transparent image 725 x 700 px

Flood Fill white

Add NRL, select all

Open PP7, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Apply mask to this paper. Merge group.

 Open frame 35 ~ 85%

C/P, select all, float, defloat, add NRL

Open PP2, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Edge Effects ~ Enhance More

Merge down.

Duplicate frame

On Original frame, Image Effects ~ Offset -10 & -10

Adjust Blur ~ Gaussian Blur ~ 7

Drop opacity to 55%

*this blur will replace a drop shadow*

2.  On 'top' copy of frame, using magic wand, settings : tolerance 10, feather 0

click inside all 3 circles of frame

by holding 'shift' on keyboard, expand selection by 5 px

Open PP4, C/Paste into the selection. 

Invert selection ~ do not deselect

Rename this layer 'paper fill'

Open main tube of choice, C/P tube concentrating on placing tube 

inside the top & right side circles.

Press delete.  Erase any part of tube

that sits inside the lower left circle.

In this circle, C/P place elem 28 ~ 50% (mirrored)

Place this flower in lower left circle & press delete to remove excess.

d/s

Duplicate flower, change blend mode to soft light on copy

Add D/S to original flower layer.

Select main tube layer, change blend mode to Luminance Legacy

Duplicate, change blend mode to soft light

& duplicate again.

Sharpen original tube layer.

3.  Elem 16 ~ 75% C/P as uppermost layer

*see reference tag*

On Materials Palette, close foreground colour

change background to #865ea8

Using Rectangle tool (preset shape), set Horizontal radius to 15 & vertical radius to 15

Draw out a horizontal thin line

approx. 600 x 10 px

Convert to raster layer. 

Effects ~ Weave:  1,2,20, white, white, fill gaps checked.

Duplicate this horizontal line.

Image ~ Offset:  -12,  - 15

Merge down.  Rename this layer: Lines

*see reference tag for placement*

Using rectangle selection tool,

draw out rectangle selelection to remove flower stems

as seen below:

4. Duplicate the 'Lines' layer, rotate 90 deg to left

& arrange

above masked layer

5.  To decorate tag, add elements of choice or as below:

elem 22 ~ 50%

elem 8 ~ 50%, duplicate, mirro

elem 8 ~ 100%, duplicate, mirror ~ 85%

elem 2 ~ 50%, duplicate, mirror & move slightly upward

elem 23 ~ has large drop shadow which I opted to remove

by using magic wand (same settings), click on each shadowed edge

around flower, delete. d/s

C/P above flower, rotate 15 deg to right

elem 42 ~ 15%, duplicate, mirror, r/s another 50%

elem 40 ~ 50%, dup & mirror (erase stem)

elem 17 ~ 40%, dup & mirror

elem 33 ~ 25%

Word Art of choice ~ erase credit

C/P as topmost layer

Change colour of WA if desired

by select all, float, defloat, add NRL

Make gradient with two colours of choice

angle 45, repeats 0

flood fill the selection

expand the selection by 3 px

Add NRL, flood fill white. d/s

Move white layer below your Word Art

then deleting the original word art.

Add D/S of choice or

as mine

5, -8, 30, 10 blur, colour black

Add D/S to any other elements if desire

except frame layer.

6.  Add copyright, URL, watermark & name to tag

Delete white bg layer, merge visible, crop ~ merged opaque

and save as a PNG.

Add D/S as you go with exceptions as stated.

Remember when resizing elements to sharpen.

1. We are going to spend a bit of time making a tagback for this tut:

Open new Image 725 x 700 px transparent

Flood fill white

Open Miz_Mask 374 R/S 85% C/P

Move upward & to left Rename ~ Mask

Select all float, defloat, add new RL, 

Open Paper 5, C/Paste into the selection, d/s

Move downward & to right, Rename ~ Mask 03

Select Mask layer again, select all, float, defloat, add new RL

Open paper 2, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Rename Mask 02

Open WWMask 01a C/P Rename Mask 01

Move to upper left

Note:  Arrange layers in this order starting from bottom:

white bg ~ close for now

Mask

Mask 01

Mask 02

Mask 03

Merge the above layers visible

Image ~ Decrease colour depth ~ 2 Colours ~ grey values, ordered dither ~ OK

Copy then UNDO 

Paste as top most layer

Using magic wand, click on outer white area, delete, d/s

Rename this Dither

Move it above the Mask layer on layer palette

Close Mask 02 layer

Open WWMask 02a PNG C/P move upper left

Select all, float, defloat, add new RL

Open Paper 5, C/Paste into the selection d/s

close original mask beneath it.

Using lighten/darken tool, softly lighten with brush sz 100, 75 hardess & opacity

the very top edge of Mask 04 layer. 

Your tagback should look something like this:

2. Now that I confused you, we can start making the tag. :+)

elem 28 ~ 65%

elem 33 ~ 65% D/S -15, 10, 50, 10 Black

elem 5 ~ 50%

elem 24 ~ 50% duplicate 3 or 4 times, arrange as brick wall, merge them together

then colourize using Filters Unlimited 2 ~ PhotoAging ~ 103,131,145 

elem 38 ~ 50%

elem 3 ~ 40%, dup & mirror

elem 16 ~ 65%

elem 10 ~ 25% D/S  -10, 10, 55, 5 black

elem 27 ~ 50%

elem 22 ~ 18%

elem 29 ` 15%

elem 1 ~ 70%

Select all, float, defloat, add new RL, open paper 21, C/Paste into the selection, d/s

Change blend mode to Overlay

Add tube of choice R/S, see reference tag

elem 26 ~ 50%

elem 23 ~ 20%

elem 11 ~ 20%

Wordart 50 % Add a 3 px border on new layer in colour # f9efe7, merge together WA & border

Change blend mode to soft light, duplicate

Add any other elements of choice

3.  If you wish to resize tag, do so now.

Add copyright, url & license

Close white bg, crop merged opaque

save as a PNG

Drop shadow used 1, -2, 45, 5, colour black or one of choice

Add D/S as you go with exceptions as stated.

Remember when resizing elements, to use Unsharp Mask

setting: 1,55,1 luminance checked

*~ Let's get started ~*

1. Open new Image 750 x 700 px transparent

Flood fill white

Add layer ~ select all

open All Hallows paper 7, C/Paste into the selection d/s

Apply mask, merge group. 

Duplicate

arrange top masked layer slightly higher & to left

in this instance only, D/S left masked layer: 1/2/55/5 colour white

arrange bottom masked layer slightly right & lower

2.  Add element 27 all hallows ~ 49%

C/P between the two masked layers on right

To brighten glow of lamp, use Lighten Brush found on left toolbar

sz 50-75, lightly brush over glow of lantern & hand 

Open elem 8 from ahwwg kit ~ 50%

C/P on top of elem 27

change blend mode to hard light

Erase skull of skeleton to fit inside monk

*see reference tag

3. open elem 10 ahwwg ~ 70% C/P

for added effect to age the fence,

add effects - artistic effects ~ enamel setting: 10,16,16 angle 45, colour #808080

arrange to left

Open tube of choice, C/P, duplicate, change blend mode to hard light

drop opacity to 53

D/S original tube layer but place D/S on new layer

This gives you option to decrease opacity or blur the D/S

should you find D/S is too harsh

On original tube layer,

apply Adjust ~ Sharpen ~ unsharp mask: 1,55,1, luminance checked. 

4. Add elem 1 ahwwg ~ 65%, mirror C/P to right above skeleton

but below the tube layers on layer palette

Add elem all hallows 16 ~ 75% C/P on top of both tube layers

Duplicate - change top layer to screen blend mode

Add elem 8 all hallows C/P to right of tube, duplicate ~ 65%, mirror, arrange and D/S each

merge down the two pumpkins together

Add elem 11 all hallows ~ 65% C/P 

duplicate twice more and arrange grass on different layers, resize if needed

place below and above the pumpkin layers

5.  Add elems 18 & 19 all hallows ~ 30%

C/P and stack upon each other

If using same tube, I opted to make hand appear as if its on top of books,

therefore on the original tube layer, draw a point to point selection

use replace mode, feather 1, draw selection closely around fingers

and along left edge of knuckles. Promote selection to a new layer. d/s

Move this promoted hand layer above the book layers.

I drop shadowed this layer using 1/2/35/5 black with shadow on its own layer.

Erase the shadow that appears on the left edge of hand. This D/S is entirely optional.

6. Add elements of choice to make this your own

elem 15 all hallows, mirror C/P above pumpkin layers

elem 11 ahwwg ~ 25%, mirror

elem 12 ahwwg ~ 20%

add more grass elem 11 all hallows, above dolls & above pumpkins

elem 18 allhallow ~ 20%

Add word art provided. Change colour to white

using Adjust ~ brightness/contrast: setting 255/0

Drop opacity to 75%

7. To achieve same Name effect, select pumpkins layer

foreground colour closed,  background any colour

setting sz 72, bold, sharp, choose 'selection' rather than a vector

type name and promote selection to a layer. d/s

D/S 2/-2/75/3 colour black, repeat if needed.

If you wish to resize tag, close white bg, crop merged opaque

then resize entire image.

8.  Add copyright, url & license. Save as a PNG

Plugin:  Screenworks ~ Light Gauze

Font Ambawang Signature

Drop shadow of choice

*~ Let's get started ~*

1. Open new Image 700 x 700 px transparent

Flood fill white

Add layer ~ select all

open paper 10, C/Paste into the selection d/s

Merge group. Duplicate ~ mirror 

arrange one masked layer slightly higher than the other, merge down

On materials palette, change foreground to #fff3ef

Using Change to Target tool, sz 50, hardness 50, opacity 75

brush the masked layer

2.  Add elem 26, r/s 54%, C/P

rotate 12 deg to left,

duplicate ~ change blend mode to screen, duplicate again

on original frame layer, change colour using

Change to Target Tool as above

Open elem 30 - 57%, C/P & mirror

Duplicate r/s 75%

arrange smaller circle top left of larger circle

Using magic wand, click inside smaller frame

modify selection expand by 1 px

select larger circle frame layer & press delete.

Merge the two circle frames together

Using Change to Target Took, change the colour to #fff3ef

same as above

duplicate, change blend mode to hard light

Open face tube of choice, C/Paste below original circle frame

With magic wand, click inside the larger circle frame,

expand selection by 1 px, invert & delete excess tube.

*Do same for smaller circle but resize tube 75% & mirror

before pasting as a layer

Duplicate both face tubes & change blend mode to Screen on top copies

Use plugin Screenworks ~ light gauze, default setting on these 'screen' copy layers

Be sure tube layers are below the circle frame

Add nice soft D/S to the circle frame

3.  To personalize your tag add elements of choice

I added:

elem 3

elem 25

elem 38, rotate 12 deg to right, duplicate & change blend mode to Screen

elem 42, change colour using change to target tool

elem 47, duplicate, change blend mode to screen

**I added elem 47 to top & bottom of larger circle**

elem 57

and elem 61, change blend mode to overlay

duplicate, change blend mode to normal, drop opacity to 46

4.  Add copyright, url, license & name

Delete white background layer

Merge visible, crop merged opaque

and save as a PNG.
