Be sure to direct file location in PSP to your patterns folder.

Drop shadow of choice

Font FoglightenNo07calt for word art

Font 'Le Tarot' a pay font, for name.

Shortcuts:  d/s ~ deselect; D/S ~ Drop shadow; NRL ~ new raster layer

Add D/S as you go.

1. Open template 904, press Shift D, close original.

Delete credits, layers 4, 10,11,12, &14.

Open paper 4, duplicate, change blend mode to multiply.

Merge down. Copy

Add NRL above white bg on working template, select 'all'

Paste the paper into the selection. d/s

Apply MizMask_093. Merge Group.

Resize this 115% smart size.

2.  Select all, float, defloat layer 1, NRL

open paper 8, c/paste into the selection. d/s. Sharpen

Apply Eye Candy 5 ~ Glass: clear setting

Add element 11 ~ 75%, move to right

Select all, float, defloat layer 2, NRL

open paper 5, c/paste into the selection. d/s

Sharpen, Apply same Glass setting.

Add element 34 ~ 40%, duplicate, change blend to 'multiply', merge down

Erase the the stem. Copy

Paste on top layer of template

Apply Mura's Meister ~ Copies:  Encircle - 30, 60, 55

Layers: send to bottom

then move this leaf circle above layer 3. Close layer 3.

Add element 80 ~ 75%, rotate 90 deg to left, all layers checked.

Copy, paste to far right of tag, sharpen, duplicate, mirror

Open layer 3, move above elements 80

Select all, float, defloat, NRL 

Open paper 2, copy/paste into the selection. Sharpen

Keeping the selection, modify contract by 6 px

NRL, open paper 8, copy/paste into the selection. d/s Sharpen

Close layer 3.

3.  Open element 88, draw a selection around the tiny star

on bottom right, copy. Paste as new layer 

on very top of template.

Using Mura's Meister copies, setting:  31, 65, 55 Sharpen

Move this star layer above the last paper 8 layer we created in step 2.

Rename this layer:  Circle of Stars

Select float defloat layer 5, NRL open paper 1, copy paste into the selection. d/s

Sharpen.

Open element 95 ~ 15%, use High Pass Sharpen

setting:  10, 70 strength, hard light. Repeat. Copy

paste on working image top left.

Open element 84 ~ 75% C/P, move upward & slightly to right

Open element 85 ~ 50%, C/P move left, above layer 6, sharpen

Select all float, defloat layer 6, NRL

Copy element 22, paste into the selection. d/s  Sharpen

close layer 6. 

4.  Open element 20 ~ 75%, C/P Select all, float, defloat

using effects, texture effects, sculpture, find Gold pattern fill

settings:  sz 100, depth 20, color white, angle 315, intensity 50, elevation 30

apply. Sharpen 

element 16 ~ 70% C/P to left, duplicate, mirror

element 51 ~ 50% C/P move to right of tag

*see reference tag*

Layer 7 and layer 9, change both to color black

using brightness/contrast -255,0

Apply same glass effect to each of these layers.

5.  Select all float, defloat layer 8, NRL

Open element 8, draw a rectangular section as below:

copy. Paste into the selection on working template. d/s Sharpen.

Apply glass effect.

Select 'Circle of Stars' we created earlier.

copy, paste as a "new Image"

draw a selection around two stars as seen below:

copy & paste onto working image over glassed layer 8 fill

but  not over the black glassed layer.

6. Using font FoglightenNo07calt

sz 16, fill color #d8b280

Type words:

keep your eyes 

on the stars. 

Apply texture sculpture Goldpattern fill as before.

Type words:

and the stars

in your eyes

Apply texture sculpture as above.

7.  Float, defloat layer 13, NRL

open element 4

copy, paste into the selection. d/s Sharpen

element 38 ~ 75%

element 9 ~ 75%

duplicate, mirror

element 41 ~ 75%

element 99 ~ 30%

duplicate, mirror

element 14 ~ 75%, repeat

element 62 ~ 25%

element 13 ~ 42% mirror, rotate 3 deg to right

duplicate, mirror, resize 85%, sharpen both

element 66 ~ 20%

Goldwasser tube ~ 85%

Adjust brightness/contrast: Levels

setting: 12, 134, 255, RGB

Using sharpen tool, sz 25,

tap the eyes on the tube once or twice.

Instead of adding a dropshadow to the tube,

duplicate tube, on original - add gaussian blur of 1

then merge down copy of tube to the blurred layer.

I did this dropshadow effect to the stones as well.

Select tube layer, right click & select

"Merge Visible to New Layer"

This places a merged copy above the tube layer.

Sharpen this layer using:

Adjust sharpness, unsharp mask setting:

1 radius, 64 strength, 4 clipping,

luminance only checked.

8. Close white bg. Resize all layers to size or your liking.

Add copyright information

Add name

and save as a PNG.

[d/s ~ deselect; D/S ~ Drop shadow; NRL ~ new raster layer]

*~ Let's get started ~*

1. Open template 37, Shift D, close original. Use copy.

Select white bg layer, increase canvas size to 900 x 900 px

This gives us room to add elements and we will resize later.

Delete the following layers of template:

- credits

- all word art incl. pixel

- purple hearts

- dotted squares

- both purple stars

- text & text shadows

- circular text & shadows

2.  Starting at bottom - select circles back 

select all, float, defloat, add NRL

Change foreground colour to #f66a77, flood fill the circles. d/s

Drop opacity to '56'

Delete purple circles back.

Open elem 73 ~ 80% C/P above white bg layer.

Place left & slightly down.

Duplicate ~ move copy to right side.

Elem 23 ~ C/P above the pink circle back layer.

3. Select Light Purple Rectangles ~ select all, float, defloat, add NRL

Open paper 6, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Duplicate twice, change blend mode to both copy layers to 'screen'

Select dotted circles, select all, float, defloat, NRL

open Paper7, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Select Purple Circles layer, select all, float, defloat, NRL

Open Paper 8, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

3.  Select dark purple rectangle, select all float, defloat, modify expand by 5 px

Flood fill with solid colour #e76880, d/s

Add noise ~ random, 23, monochrome

Move this layer below purple rectangle.

Select dark purple rectangle again, select all, float, defloat, NRL

Open Paper 10, C/Paste into the selection. d/s Sharpen once

Delete dark purple rectangle.

4. Open elem 58 ~ 75%, rotate left 15 deg. sharpen once

duplicate, mirror. move to top and slightly right.

In layer palette, drop copy below original heart layer.

5.  Elem 47 ~ C/P at very top of working image. Duplicate ~ change copy to 'screen' mode

and drop opacity to 40. 

D/S original flower sprig layer with light setting eg. 1/2/25/5 #2e2e2e

5.  Select Gradient Square /Rectangles layer. Select all, float, defloat, NRL

Open Texture 61, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Add noise ~ same setting as above.

Duplicate ~ change blend mode to 'screen'

Delete gradient square/rectangle layer.

Select the Dotted square rectangle layer.

Change this layer to white using brightness/contrast 255/0.

6.  Select purple square/rectangle layer

Using rectangular selection tool, loosely draw a rectangle selection

around the top purple rectangle 'only' ~ float, defloat. NRL

open elem 2, C/Paste into the selection. d/s

Change colour of this grey element to pink using

colour changer tool, foreground colour set to #eeb4c5.

Duplicate this element. Drag copy over the 'bottom' of the purple square/rectangle layer.

At this point, we do not need to fill or cover the middle square area.

Close the purple square/rectangle layer for now.

7. Open elem 15 ~ 30% C/P as topmost layer on layers palette

rotate 35 deg to left, sharpen once

Using Mura's Meister plugin ~ Copies ~ Cards ~ default setting ~ Apply

Arrange rose cluster to left of working image. Duplicate ~ Mirror

8. Customize your tag with elements of choice or mine:

elem 27 ~ 50%, duplicate

elem 48 ~ 40%

elem 94 ~ 50%

elem 42 ~ 40%, duplicate, resize 75%, rotate 22 deg left, sharpen once

move below larger pillow, slightly left

*see reference tag*

Duplicate each pillow ~ change copy layer to 'screen' for each pillow

and drop opacity to 40. 

I use 'screen' mode frequently to soften/brighten the colour of elements.

9. Add main tube, place below pillow layers.

Resize tube if needed.

This tube has small hearts attached to the png.

I drew a point-to-point selection around some of these hearts

& promoted the selection to a new layer. d/s  Resize 50%. Rename this layer 'hearts' to make

them easier to find.

I used these hearts to decorate the 'Name' layer at the completion of this tag.

Add a light D/S to the hearts if desired.

10. elem 16 ~ 40%

elem 54 ~ 50% ~ change blend mode to 'screen'

elem 97 ~ 25%

elem 91 ~ 25%

elem 86 ~ 75%

elem 55 ~ 25%

elem 86 ~ 75%

elem 71 ~ 40%, duplicate, mirror

elem 48 ~ 55%

elem 43 ~ 50%

elem 7 ~ 20%

elem 42 ~ 35%

elem 15 ~ 30%

elem 75 ~ 30%

elem 93 ~ 50%, mirror

elem 100 ~ 30% ~ use colour changer tool to recolour flower 

elem 95 ~ 75% Word Art

or use Word Art supplied below:

11.  Select the purple square/rectangles layer which should be closed.

Resize the following layers that sit above it by 90%

ie, the shadow,

the texture square/rectangle layers x2

white dotted square/rectangles

&

 two of elem 2 (recoloured pink)

Add dropshadows to elements if desired

and  a D/S to main tube. I used 0/2/20, 20 blur colour black

**Resize enter template tag to 700 px width, all layers checked.**

 

12.  Add copyright, url, license & Name

*~ Let's go!  ~*

1. Open template 2, Shift D, close original.

Select top layer, resize canvas size to 800 x 725 px

We will resize entire image later 

Delete all the following layers of template:

- info

- font info

- black stars

- wicked gradient

- both purple stars

- all the dot/dash lines/circles

- both purple strips

- both blue rectangles

- top & bottom glitter squares

- both purple squares

- large blue square

2.  Start at bottom - top orange rectangle

select all, float, defloat, add new raster layer 

Open Paper 5 C/Paste into the selection, d/s

Sharpen once

Do same for other orange rectangle except Flip paper vertically

then C/Paste into the selection. Sharpen. d/s

On left, merge together the three rectangles - 2 orange, 1 purple

change colour of these 3 rectangles to black using

Brightness/Contrast:  -255, 0

On the right, merge the two green squares together by merging down

Select all, float, defloat, invert selection

Open paper 1, C/P as new layer

press delete, d/s, sharpen

3. Select orange oval layer - select all, float, defloat

Add a new raster layer

Open Paper 7, C/Paste into the selection

do not deselect

If you have the full size tube (not supplied) but purchased

resize 80%, C/P above red paper layer

Using magic wand, click on the outside area red paper layer

arrange face of tube within the selection

press delete, d/s.

Change blend mode of face to multiply, opacity 89, duplicate

To give this copy layer a painted finish,

go to Effects ~ Art Media Effects ~ Brush Strokes

setting:  S20, BB160, W5, O50, L3, D25, angle 102 Colour #505050

Ok

Note: Adding this effect will create undesired drop shadows on 

the outer edges of your canvas. Simply draw out

a larger rectangular selection on this painted tube layer

outside of the circumference of tube

invert the selection & delete, d/s

Those shadows should disappear.

Select green half oval layer, select all, float, defloat

Add a new Raster Layer

Open Paper 6, C/Paste into the selection, d/s

Change foreground colour to #aa182a

Select wicked white layer on template

change colour using colour changer tool by flood filling the white glitter layer

Adjust sharpen twice

Using move tool, move the 'A Wee Bit' wordart

to the left & ontop of word WICKED

Change colour to white using Brightness/Contrast 255/0

resize 75%

Using Eye Candy Gradient glow, add a black gradient glow to the 'A Wee Bit' layer

4. Open tube supplied, resize 80% C/P

below all the Word Art layers but above the black half oval

duplicate, change blend mode to overlay, decrease opacity to 73

On original tube layer, apply the Unsharp Mask ~ setting in intro

Apply D/S to this layer, not the overlay layer

Now you can customize your tag, see reference tag for placement

57 ~ 50%, duplicate, mirror & arrange

89 ~ 30%

79 ~ 30% & 75%

91 ~ 50%

41 ~ 75% sharpen twice

58 ~ 50% & 75%

36 ~ 13%

36 ~ 17%

place above doll to appear crow is carrying doll above cauldron

sharpen crow twice

37 ~ 50%

2 ~ 75% duplicate, mirror & arrange

15 ~ 30%

add any other elements of choice

*some elements were sharpened casually using the Sharpen Brush tool

sz 50, step 10, density & thickness 100, rotation 0, opacity 25

ie. spider web, ghost monk eyes, snake

Note:  After elem 41 was added, the black paper layer beneath it 

extended too high. Simply draw a rectangular selection

on the upper portion of black layer & delete, d/s.

5.  Select white bg layer

Add new raster layer, open paper 1, C/Paste into the selection d/s

Apply mask supplied in kit

Open elem 69 C/P above masked paper

Add elem 4 ~ approx 85%, move to left

duplicate, move to right

If you wish to resize tag, close white bg, crop merged opaque

then resize entire image to 700 px on longest side

Be sure to check for undesired, outlying dropshadows & erase/delete

Also dropshadow paper layers

7.  Add copyright, url, license & Name
