I haven't written a tutorial in ages and had to when I found this

Font for name ~ Addams AltogetherOoky

D/S 2, -1, 75, 5 blur, colour black

1. Open transparent image 700 x 725 px  Flood fill white

NRL Select all ~ paste Paper 19 'into' the selection d/s

Apply RD Mask854 by Rachel, merge group.

resize masked layer 97%

apply Effects ~ Edge effects ~ Enhance

2.  Beginning from masked layer, keep layering:

elem 45 ~ 35%, duplicate, arrange one upper left

and one bottom right D/S

elem 33 ~ mirror, 40% change blend mode to luminance legacy

elem 34 ~ 70%, duplicate, change opacity to 'multiply'

& merge down to original, D/S

elem 09 ~ 30%, arrange to top

2.  Add main couple tube, resize 70%

elem 13 ~ 100%

elem 52 ~ 25%, C/P onto shoulder of main tube

duplicate, move duplicate below main tube on layer palette

Select original owl layer, erase any parts of owl

that would cover area of head/neck of main tube

elem 41 ~ 25%, rotate 90 deg to left

C/P to left of main tube towards branch

duplicate as many times as desired, arranging each as desired

3.  Select main couple tube

Using eraser, erase any parts that extend beneath brown branch

duplicate tube, move this layer above all other layers

Erase any parts on tube that you wish to show of the branch

(lower opacity of this tube layer, helps to achieve this)

elem 49 ~ with selection tool, select small bat only

C/P onto working image, resize 30%, D/S

place anywhere on branch

open elem 03 ~ 50% change foreground color to #2a2b29

using change-to-target tool, brush this element to change colour

C/P, arrange to right, D/S

elem 46 ~ 40% C/P, duplicate, change blend mode to 'multiply'

and reduce opacity to '40', merge down, D/S 

duplicate elem 03 and move this layer above tombstone

Using eraser, erase part of leaves that you do not want

covering the tombstone  *see reference tag*

elem 51 ~ 15%, image mirror, change blend mode to 'dissolve'

drop opacity to '80;

elem 18 ~ 25%, D/S, use sharpen tool size 50, brush face/eyes

this helps to define the eyes

4.  Add word art supplied

To change colour of word art from white to lime green,

use Manual Color Correction tool

(if you don't have this tool in your upper toolbar,

simply go to View ~ Customize

Scroll left column to 'All Commands'

scroll right column to find 'Manual Color Correction'

click on the blue icon & drag it into your top tool bar within PSP

be sure word art is selected, click on Manual Color Correction tool

(see below)

change source to colour white

and target to colour #dee6d8, select OK

D/S word art

5.  Delete white background layer,

resize all layers if desired

Crop merged, opaque

Add copyright, url, & name.

Merge visible, save as a png.
