In this PSP tutorial I used the artwork of Alicia Mujica

available for purchase at AliciaMujicaDesigns. 

Anyone wishing to use the same image in their own personal creation

MUST have the proper license for that image

 Font: Happy Christmas

Open New Image 700 x 700 px

Be sure the resolution is set to 72 px/inch & color depth 

is set to RBG 8 bits/channel - transparent checked. 

Flood fill white with flood fill tool 

 Open element 24 - C/P

element 17 C/P

select the pinkish snow area with your magic wand, tolerance 10

whiten this snow by using brightness/contrast 255/0 setting

deselect.

You may see a grey line along the bottom of the tree element

Select that grey area with the rectangular tool,

change it to white using some brightness/contrast setting as above.

Deselect.

To add tracks to left & behind tree to mimick sleigh tracks,

use pen tool, solid line size 4

draw a straight line following the same angle as the bottom of the sleigh

in color black.

Convert to raster layer - Apply - blur - guassian blur of 2

reduce opacity to 24 on layers palette

duplicate and move copy slightly upward & to right

(see reference tag)

Add main tube behind white tree, resized

Add word art found below.

Just click on Word art for new window - then Save As

Arrange all layers. You may see the red mask layer

extending on the bottom beneath the white snow of the tree.

Using eraser tool, erase that portion of the red mask layer

with a soft setting ie. sz 100, hardness 50, step 10, density 100

thickness 100, opacity 100.

If you wish to resize tag, do so now before adding

copyright as resizing will distort the copyright.

Add copyright, license, url & name

Close or delete white & black background layers.

Merge visible, crop 'merged opaque'

and save as a PNG.
