In this PSP tutorial I used the artwork of KatNKDA

aka Angelica Sellers

unfortunately I do not know where this tube is available for purchase

as I purchased this tube quite some time ago

This is a stunning kit with elements I know I will use often

I especially love the masked backgrounds.

using file locations
Note: No Dropshadows were used in this tag
except for your name if desired
Font Portfolio


Open new transparent background 725 x 700 px
Flood fill white
open Element 76, resize to 700 px wide
C/P
Add new raster layer
Select all
Open paper 10 and Copy & paste into the selection
deselect.
Sharpen
Open mask, minimize
Apply mask to paper 10 using Layers - New Mask layers - from image.
Merge group.
Open element 2, resize to 700 px wide
C/P above masked layer


We will be using element 75
Because some pixels in this element are transparent
I added a white background to this element
To do this, flatten the element to make a jpeg
Promote this to a background layer
Using the magic wand, tolerance 10, feather 0
click on the outter white area & press delete. Deselect
Now this element has the white background embedded


I supplied this element if wish to save the step
click on element and save as

The reason for this becomes apparent when we add a tube above this element shape
C/P this element to the left of center
see reference tag
Select all, float, defloat & invert selection
Open your main tube, I had to resize tube by 55%
C/P over element 75 above
arrange so eyes & mouth show within the slanted stripes
when happy, press delete on keyboard & deselect
change blend mode to luminance L
duplicate tube, change duplicate blend mode to screen, lowering opacity to 36
Apply blur - guassian blur of 2
Back to element 75
select all, float, defloat
Add a new raster layer
modify expand selection by 2 px
flood fill white
keeping the selection active, contract 2 px
and delete. Deselect
Add noise - random, monochrome - 53.
This gives a nice border to the slanted stripes
Delete or close element 75.


Add element 14 - resize 30%
C/P to right of tag
Element 62 - 30% C/P
I duplicated these 2 more times
and arrange throughout tag


Open main tube, resized 30%
C/P to right of center
Apply same DD_NWM1 mask to tube
Merge group
change blend mode to Luminance L
dupliate and change this layer to soft light
Add blur, guassian blur of 2 or 3


Add element 97, resize 75%
C/P to bottom of tube, change blend mode to luminance


Decorate tag with flowers
Element 59 - 25%
Element 61 - 30% & resize 50% more
arrange on top of element 59
Open element 62 again
resized to 25%
C/P over the slanted stripe tube layers
duplicate once and arrange


Add wordart -resized 75%
Change its blend mode to Luminance L
reduce opacity to 85%


If you wish to resize tag, do so now


Add copyright including license # & url
Add name
Select all, float, defloat, modify selection expand by 2 px
add new raster layer, flood fill white. Deselect
Move this white layer below your name and merge two name layers together
if drop shadow desired, add 1/1/25/3 blur colour #191919


Using picture tube, find Starwhite sparkle that
you installed earlier - scale 75%
Add a few sparkles to your name on a new raster layer.
Change blend mode of these sparkles to Luminance

Close white background, merge visible, crop merged opaque
Save as a PNG
